Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that it is still unknown how much the recent problems with the operation of coal-fired TPP Nikola Tesla complex will cost the state, but assured that there will be no electricity or gas restriction in Serbia during this winter season.
She also refuted reports that Serbia will be paying higher price for gas supplied by Russian Gazprom as of 1 January 2022 and reminded that Serbia agreed to pay 270 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters until 1 June next year.
In related news, the Government proposed to state-owned power utility EPS to cap the price of electricity for industrial consumers at 75 euros/ MWh until June 2022.
