The average daily base price on the day-ahead market in March stood at 101.48 euros/MWh, reflecting a significant 34.4% decrease from February, while the average euro-peak price was 91.37 euros/MWh, a 43.9% drop. On the intraday market, 5,807 MWh were traded at an average price of 114.12 euros/MWh.

SEEPEX, which began operations on February 17, 2016, started with a trading volume of just 1,925 MWh. It is jointly owned by the Serbian electricity transmission system operator EMS and the European Power Exchange (EPEX SPOT), with the aim of developing a competitive, transparent, and reliable electricity market in Serbia and southeastern Europe. In July 2023, SEEPEX expanded its services by launching an intraday market, further contributing to the growth of electricity trading in the region.
