Serbia and Italy to ratify energy sector cooperation this month

 

The contracts on energy sector cooperation which Serbia and Italy have signed so far should be ratified at the Serbian-Italian summit in Belgrade on June 21. This is according to officials who made the announced in Rome on Tuesday, during a meeting of the two countries’ delegations headed by Serbian Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Mrkonjic and Italian Minister of Economic Development Paolo Romani reports B92. Now that electricity production in nuclear power plants has been brought into question all around the world, Serbia, the Serb Republic (RS) and Italy need to solve the problem of energy shortage by production based on renewable energy sources, Romani said at the meeting.
