SEE region: Srbijagas and DEPA signed MoU on strategic cooperation

Serbian natural gas importer and distributor Srbijagas signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Greek gas supplier DEPA with the aim of in order to establish the framework for future cooperation in the area of natural gas supply, Srbijagas said in a press release.

Cooperation includes the purchase and sale, optimization of the use of transport capacity and the possibility of using the capacity of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Greece, as well as in terms of natural gas storage and future capital investments in this area.In March, Serbia reserved capacity of 300 million cubic metres (mcm) of LNG per year at the terminal at Greece’s Aegean port of Alexandroupolis.
