SEE region: Average weekly electricity prices ranged from 112-117.5 euros per MWh in week 49

The spot electricity prices in SEE region in week 49 (December 2-8) ranged from around 112 euros per MWh on the Croatian electricity exchange CROPEX and Serbian SEEPEX to 117.5 euros per MWh on the Hungarian HUPX.

The average weekly price on the Greek market reached 113.1 euros per MWh, while Romanian OPCOM and Bulgarian IBEX reached and average price of around 114.4 euros per MWh. The Slovenian BSP records an average weekly price of 117.2 euros per MWh.

Gas Front-month TTF futures on the ICE market fell at the beginning of the week to 40.1 euros per MWh, which is a decrease compared to 43.5 euros per MWh recorded on Friday, December 1. The lowest weekly price was reached on Tuesday, 38.1 euros per MWh.
