Romania; The average price on the OPCOM day ahead market reached 106 euros/MWh

The average price on the day-ahead market of the Romanian energy exchange OPCOM amounted to 106.09 euros/MWh in October, which is 49% lower compared to the same month in 2022 and 3% higher compared to September (103.19 euros/MWh).

Traded volume in October reached 1.04 million MWh, which is 42% less than in October 2022 and 10.5% less than in September.

Average traded volume in October 2023 amounted to 1,391.6 MWh/h.

The total value of transactions in October amounted to 114.9 million euros, which is 69.73 % less compared to October last year (679.6 million euros) and 7.87 % less than in the previous month.
