Romania, Hydrocarbon output of OMV Petrom dropped to 117,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Q3 2022

The hydrocarbon output of Romania’s largest oil and gas company OMV Petrom dropped to 117,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the third quarter of 2022, from 122,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the same period in 2021.

OMV Petrom’s daily hydrocarbon production in the third quarter of 2022 was slightly lower compared to the second quarter, when it produced 120,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Total daily hydrocarbon sales volume amounted to 112,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the July-September period, down from a daily 116,700 barrels in the same period of 2021.

Total sales of refined products fell to 1.51 million tons in the third quarter of 2022, compared to 1.54 million tons in the same period last year.

The volumes of gas sales to third parties fell to 7.1 TWh, compared to 8.17 TWh in the third quarter of 2021.

Net electricity output rose to 1.42 TWh in the third quarter, compared to 1.37 TWh the same period of 2021.
