Romania, Green Genius is investing 8 million euros in the construction of 10 MW solar power plant

Lithuanian renewable energy developer Green Genius said that it is investing 8 million euros in the construction of 10 MW solar power plant in Dambovita county, as a part of its plan to develop a 500 MW solar portfolio in Romania by 2025.

The construction of the solar power plant is expected to start in the second quarter of 2023. Currently, Green Genius is developing renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 180 MW in Romania.

In early 2022, Green Genius said that it is planning to build over 500 MW of solar capacity in Romania by 2025, an investment of some 450 million euros.
