Romania, Electrica Furnizare to install 3.5 MW in solar panels for Transavia

Electrica Furnizare strengthens its position in the market of energy services and solutions by starting a new partnership in the field of green energy with Transavia, the local leader of the chicken meat market. In the first phase of the partnership, 6,480 photovoltaic panels will be installed at 10 Transavia locations in the Brasov area.

The installation of the 6,480 photovoltaic modules of 540 W will be done both on the ground and on the roof of the buildings in the Transavia workplaces, the total installed power being 3.5 MW.

Deputy General Manager of Transavia Ovidiu Oprita said that as part of the largest investment in green energy in the Romanian food sector, which the company initiated this year, the partnership with Electrica Furnizare will contribute significantly to achieving the company’s energy efficiency objective through which it aims to ensure almost fully, until the end of 2023, the energy requirement.

The partnership between the two companies will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 962.8 tons per year.
