Romania: Average DAM price reached 102 euros /MWh in November

The average price on the day-ahead market of the Romanian energy exchange OPCOM reached 102.15 euros/MWh in November, which is 54% lower compared to the same month in 2022 and 4% lower compared to October (106.09 euros/MWh).

Traded volume in November reached 1.5 million MWh, 29% less than in November 2022 and 45% more than in October. Average traded volume in November 2023 amounted to 2,087.8 MWh/h.

The total value of transactions amounted to 159.4 million euros, 67% less compared to November last year (486.7 million euros) and 39% more than in the previous month (114.9 million euros).
