Romania, Alerion Clean Power has signed an agreement with Romanian Black Sea Wind Partners

Italian renewable energy developer Alerion Clean Power said that it has signed an agreement with Romanian Black Sea Wind Partners on the development of three wind projects in the country, with combined installed capacity of 550 MW.

The statement from the company said that all necessary permits for wind farms should be obtained by the end of 2024, when the construction could begin.

This transaction is part of the collaboration agreement signed with PV Project RO in February, which envisages the construction of photovoltaic plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 200 MW in Romania by 2023.

Previously in May, said that it has signed an agreement with Monsson Alma for the development of three new wind projects in Romania with a total capacity of some 350 MW. The process of obtaining all the necessary permits is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
