Region, Weekly spot prices from 156 to 240 euros per MWh

In the period from April 5 to 11, 2022, the average spot prices of electricity on stock exchanges in the region of Southeast Europe ranged from 156.7 euros per MWh in Bulgaria to 239.8 euros per MWh in Greece.

On the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX, the average weekly price is 179.1 euros per MWh, about 26 euros less on a weekly basis, compared to 205.6 euros per MWh seven days earlier.

On the Bulgarian stock exchange IBEX, the weekly average was 156.7 euros per MWh, up about 18 euros from 138.7 euros per MWh in the previous week.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets were fluctuated for almost the whole week, while the Romanian market was fluctuated with the Hungarian market on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The weekly average at OPCOM was 157.1 euros per MWh (18 euros more on a weekly basis), and the weekly average at HUPX was 167.7 euros per MWh (43 euros less on a weekly basis).

The Greek and Bulgarian markets were not flooded during this period. The weekly average on ENEX is 239.8 euros per MWh, which is similar to previous weeks.

On the Slovenian and Croatian markets, the weekly spot price was reduced by about 50 euros, to 172.9 euros per MWh, compared to 222.1 euros per MWh last week.
