Region, The day-ahead price drop on Thursday to around 160 euros per MWh

A day in advance, delivery prices on Thursday, April 7, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 159.87 euros per MWh in Slovenia and Croatia to 230.3 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Thursday decreased by 33 euros compared to Wednesday, to 160.38 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian, Romanian and Hungarian markets crashed on Thursday, with a price of 167.96 euros per MWh. That is about 5 euros less than on Wednesday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Thursday amounted to 159.87 euros per MWh and was reduced by about 20 euros compared to Wednesday.

The Greek price was reduced by about 51 euros, to 230.33 euros per MWh on Thursday.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Thursday range from 74.15 euros per MWh in Germany to 227.9 euros per MWh in Switzerland.
