Region, Spot prices on Tuesday around 235 euros per MWh

The day before, delivery prices on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 232.84 euros per MWh in Croatia and Slovenia to 236.5 euros per MWh in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Tuesday increased by 21 euros compared to the previous day, to 233.13 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets crashed on Tuesday, with a price of 236.52 euros per MWh. That is 3 euros less than on Monday.

Hungary’s price fell by 1 euro to 235.73 euros per MWh on Tuesday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Tuesday is 232.84 euros per MWh, which is about 16 euros less than the previous day.

The Greek market is in line with the Bulgarian market, and the price has been reduced by 2 euros in one day.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Tuesday range from 179.43 euros per MWh in Poland to 229.8 euros per MWh in France.
