Region, Spot prices on Thursday from 234-245 euros per MWh

The day before, delivery prices on Thursday, May 5, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 234.25 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania to 245.69 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Thursday increased by euros compared to Wednesday, to 242.52 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets crashed on Thursday, with a price of 234.25 euros per MWh, which is only 1 euro more than the previous day.

Hungary’s price increased by 3 euros, to 236.62 euros per MWh on Thursday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Thursday is 235.39 euros per MWh, which is about 3 euros more than on Wednesday.

The Greek spot price is the same as the previous day and amounts to 245.69 euros per MWh.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Thursday range from 168.56 euros per MWh in Poland to 236.12 euros per MWh in Switzerland.
