Region, New date for Croatian and Hungarian market advancement day – June 8

The parties to the Core Flow Based Market Coupling project have announced that they have decided that the new launch date, after the postponement, will be June 8, 2022 (for electricity delivery on June 9), stock exchange operators said.

During the previous two weeks, the parties in the project worked intensively on resolving the remaining difficulties related to the Core market drip project, it is added in the announcement published on Friday.

The day-ahead CROPEX and BSP markets (from 2018) will be connected to the CROPEX and HUPX day-ahead markets as part of the Core project, which will change the distribution of daily capacity on the Croatian-Hungarian border, which will be allocated through the market dripping mechanism and involved fast.

The daily capacity for connecting the markets on the Croatian-Slovenian and Croatian-Hungarian borders will be calculated using the Flow-Based method, the statement added.
