Region, Moderate drop in spot prices on Friday

The day before, delivery prices on Friday, May 6, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 223.19 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania to 233.8 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Friday was reduced by 11 euros compared to Thursday, to 231.33 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets crashed on Friday, with a price of 223.19 euros per MWh, which is 11 euros less than the previous day.

The Hungarian price was reduced by 11 euros, to 225.36 euros per MWh on Friday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Friday is 229.66 euros per MWh, which is about 9 euros less than on Thursday.

The Greek spot price was reduced by 13 euros, to 233.8 euros per MWh.

According to EPEX SPOT data, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Friday range from 166.83 euros per MWh in Poland to 228.68 euros per MWh in Switzerland.
