Region: Maximum clearing price for SDAC set at 4,000 euros per MWh

On the trading day of April 3, 2022, for delivery on April 4 at 8 and 9 o’clock, high prices were recorded in France. They amounted to 2,712.99 euros per MWh at 8 am, or 2,987.78 euros per MWh at 9 am, said the stock exchange operators included in the SDAC (Single Day Ahead Coupling).

Therefore, the current harmonized maximum clearing price will be increased from 3,000 euros per MWh to 4,000 euros per MWh, the statement said.

This change will take effect on May 10, 2022 (first trading session).

This means that the harmonized maximum clearing price for the day ahead (SDAC) will be increased by 1,000 euros per MWh.

The new maximum clearing price will apply in all bidding zones participating in the SDAC.
