Region, Fall day-ahead price to 175 euros per MWh Wednesday

The day before, delivery prices on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 174.65 euros per MWh in Bulgaria to 193.29 euros per MWh in Serbia.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Wednesday decreased by 30 euros compared to Tuesday, to 193.29 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian, Romanian and Hungarian markets plunged at most intervals on Wednesday, with a price of 173.43 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and 174.65 euros per MWh in Romania and Hungary, respectively. That is 35 euros, or 42 euros less than on Tuesday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Wednesday is 180.07 euros per MWh, which is 40 euros less than on Tuesday.

Greek stock market data were not released on time.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Wednesday range from 117.44 euros per MWh in Poland to 274.99 euros per MWh in Switzerland.
