Planned construction of new generation capacities in Republika Srpska

 

In accordance with future development plans, plans are to support generation from renewable and effective cogeneration that are not presently in place in Republika Srpska (wind energy, solar energy, biomass, etc).

To date, Republika Srpska Government has awarded 100 concessions for construction of small hydro power plants with the capacity up to 5 MW. One small hydropower plant is in operation already for two years – HPP Divic
