North Macedonia: OKTA recorded a 95% lower profit in H1

Oil refinery OKTA, owned by Greek Hellenic Petroleum, recorded a net profit of 600,000 euros in the first half of 2023, compared to a profit of 12.4 million euros recorded in the same period last year.

OKTA’s sales revenues dropped by 14% in the first six months, reaching 364.5 million euros, of which 266 million euros was achieved in the domestic market (19 % decrease compared to H1 2022) and 97.5 million euros in the foreign markets, which is 20% less compared to the first half of last year.

OKTA remains the main supplier of fuel in North Macedonia, covering more than half of the needs of the domestic market.
