More gold from Mining Smelter Basin Bor

 

The Mining-Smelter Basin Bor (RTB) produced around 14.000 tons of cathode copper in the first half of the year or 34 percent more than the same period during the last year and at the same time 10 percent more gold and 20 percent silver was produced, it was said at today’s press conference.

The six months excavation of the copper ore achieved in this year has been the highest for the last ten years.

The excavations in this year ‘weigh’ 8 million tons more than last year’s with the total number is 18 millions tons, and the amount of copper produced from the ore which is mined in Bor, Krivelj and Majdanpek is larger than last year’s by approximately 2.000 tons.
