Hungary: Traded electricity on HUPX in November

In November 2020 on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX the average price of electricity amounted to 48.88 euros/MWh, which is 24.22 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 39.35 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 57.81 euros/MWh in November, 27.36 % higher compared to October peak price. Traded volume in November reached 2.12 million MWh, which is 0.76 % less than in October (2 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in November amounted to 70,612.5 MWh. The total value of transactions in November amounted to 105.13 million euros, which is 24.55 % higher than in the previous month (84.41 million euros).
