Hungary, The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the HUPX amounted to 222.74 euros/MWh in November

The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 222.74 euros/MWh in November 2022, which is 15 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 193.94 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 260.45 euros/MWh in November, 23 % higher compared to October peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.04 million MWh, 11 % more compared to October (2.04 million MWh) and 11.8 % less than in November 2021 (2.55 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in November amounted to 75,172 MWh.

Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 396,326 MWh in November 2022, which is 2 % less compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 13,211 MWh.
