Thus, the contract for the supply of electricity next year at HUDEX jumped to 239.5 euros per MWh, during the trading session on Friday, May 13. This is the highest level since the beginning of the year.

The price for 2023 exceeded the threshold of 200 euros for the first time on April 8, and has been growing steadily since then.

Previously, the highest price was recorded on February 25 – 198.4 euros per MWh.

The situation is similar with the contracts for the supply of electricity in the third quarter of 2022. They rose significantly on five occasions and then fell during the previous month, ranging from 236.2 to 262.4 euros per MWh.

The highest quarterly price this year was recorded on March 7 – 442.1 euros per MWh.
