Hungary: Average electricity price reached 99.4 euros/MWh on HUPX DAM in November

The average electricity price on the day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX reached 99.38 euros/MWh in November. That is 5% lower compared to October, (104.99 euros/MWh).

The average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 118.44 euros/MWh in November, 4% higher compared to October. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.4 million MWh, 14% more compared to October (2.1 million MWh) and 6.7 % more than in November 2022 (2.25 million MWh).

The average daily traded volume in November amounted to 80,000 MWh. Total traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 645,751 MWh in November 2023, 3% more compared to the previous month. The average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 21,525 MWh.

The average price for the hourly product amounted to 109.33 euros/MWh in November, 3% less compared to the previous month.
