PPC has completed construction of a 36 MW wind farm in the Fokida region of central Greece, with full commercial operation scheduled for next year.
The project is expected to generate about 82.5 GWh of electricity annually—enough to supply nearly 20,000 households—while reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 41,250 tons per year.
Located in the Karkaros area within the municipal units of Antikyra and Desfina, the wind farm includes seven Siemens Gamesa SG145 turbines. It will be connected to the national grid through a newly built 33/150 kV substation.
The development aligns with PPC’s growth strategy for 2025–2027, which aims to significantly expand its renewable energy portfolio. The company plans to increase its installed RES capacity from 6.3 GW to 11.8 GW across Greece, Romania, Italy, and Bulgaria.
