Greece, Enteka and 547 Energy is planning to build 400 MW in wind projects

A joint venture of local renewable energy developers Enteka and 547 Energy is planning to build 400 MW in wind projects in Greece.

The projects should be located in the Imathia regional unit of Central Macedonia and Peloponnese and is expected to require an investment of 450 million euros. The wind farms should be commissioned within two years from the start of construction.

The two companies will start the construction of 300 MW in wind farms located in the Vermio mountainous areas in Imathia this summer. Those projects will be developed through a joint venture that will be majority-owned by 547 Energy.

Another 100 MW of wind farms will be located in Peloponnese, with construction scheduled to begin around the end of 2022.

This is not the first cooperation between the two companies. Back in 2020, Enteka/547 Energy consortium was the winner in a RES auction and secured a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 153 MW wind project in Imathia and Kozani.
