Europe: CO2 emission allowances remained below 68 euros/t

According to AleaSoft Energy Forecasting, settlement prices of CO2 emission allowance futures in the EEX market for the reference contract of December 2024, in the fourth week of June remained below €68/t.

On Tuesday, June 25, these futures reached their weekly maximum settlement price, €67.92/t. On the other hand, on Thursday, June 27, they registered their weekly minimum settlement price, €66.67/t. According to data analyzed at AleaSoft Energy Forecasting, this price was the lowest since the end of April. After a rise of 1.2%, on Friday, June 28, the settlement price was €67.47/t, 1.0% lower than the previous Friday, AleaSoft Energy Forecasting reports.
