Croatia, The highest hourly volume on CROPEX day-ahead market achieved

Croatian electricity exchange CROPEX announced that at the day-ahead auction held on 29 November, for the delivery on 30 November, the total volume on the day-ahead market was recorded in the amount of 28,048.8 MWh, with the highest hourly volume traded for the 4th hour in the amount of 2,036 MWh with settlement price of 180 euros/MWh.

This represents the highest hourly traded volume on CROPEX day-ahead market since its go-live on 10 February 2016 and successful MRC market coupling on 19 June 2018.

Also, on 29 November, CROPEX intraday market achieved its highest daily traded volume so far. Total traded volume, traded in 1,388 separate trades, was 6,837.3 MWh with volume-weighted average price of 240.23 €eurosMWh.

Highest hourly volume was traded for 16th hour in amount of 468.9 MWh, while the lowest traded sum of 121.3 MWh was traded for 1st hour.

With maximum and minimum prices for a single transaction of 598.40 euros/MWh and 5.53 euros/ MWh respectively, the lowest volume-weighted average price was 99.29 euros/MWh for 2nd hour and highest 404.39 euros/MWh for 19th hour.
