Croatia: RP Global to build 50 MW solar park

Local unit of renewables developer RP Global plans to build a 50-MW/65.6-MWp solar farm in Croatia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development said after receiving the amended environmental impact assessment for the project.

RP Global proposed to change the layout of the solar farm and use more powerful photovoltaic modules, which would raise the plant’s capacity from 40 MW/52.3MWp as originally planned.

The solar project Ljutine is planned to be located in the town of Ljubitovica, Split-Dalmatia County.

RP Global’s local unit RP Global Projekti doo is in charge of the project.

RP Global entered the Croatian market in 2002. It developed and built two wind farms with a combined capacity of 78 MW in the country and added solar projects to its local portfolio.
