Croatia, Professio Energia recorded a net profit in the amount of 3.4 million euros in H1 2022

Croatian renewable energy company Professio Energia recorded a net profit in the amount of 3.4 million euros in the first half of 2022, compared to 1.4 million euros net profit in the same period last year.

The company’s operating revenues amounted to 9.26 million euros in the first six months of the year, of which 9.24 million in sales revenues, compared to zero in sales revenues in the first half of 2021. Operating expenditures rose to 59.5 million euros from 210,000 euros in H1 2021.

Earlier this week, Professio Energia said that its 50 % owned subsidiaries Eko and Velika Popina have signed power purchase agreements (PPA) for three wind farms in Croatia with Danish energy trader Danske Commodities. The wind farms in question are Zadar 2, 3 and 6, with combined installed capacity of 45 MW.

In early 2022, Professio Energia completed the acquisition of two companies – PR Global Danilo and Vjetroelektrana Rudine, which own several wind farms in Croatia with combined installed capacity of 77.7 MW. PR Global Danilo owns three wind farms in the Sibenik-Knin County: Danilo, Bubrig and Crni Vrh, with combined installed capacity of 43.7 MW. Vjetroelektrana Rudine owns 44 MW wind farm Rudine in the Dubrovnik- Neretva County. Both companies are owned by Austrian RP Global group. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Professio Energia is the first Croatian renewable energy company publicly traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
