Croatia, Price increase in advance by 55%, to 293.7 euros per MWh in March

The total volume of trade on the Croatian electricity exchange in March 2022 amounted to 520,366 MWh, the stock exchange operator announced.

Of that, 460,708 MWh was traded on the day-ahead, which is 23% more than the 374,707 MWh in February.

The average price for the base load on CROPEX DAM in March was 293.68 euros per MWh, which is 54.8% more than in the previous month.

The average price for peak load was 304.2 euros per MWh.

The volume of intra-day trade amounted to 51,658 MWh, which is 21.1% more than the volume in February (42,672 MWh).

The weighted average price on CROPEX IDM was EUR 283.57 per MWh in March, which is 49.4% more than in February (EUR 189.78 per MWh)

On the day-ahead market in March 2022, 27 members participated, of which 18 also traded on the intraday market, according to the CROPEX monthly report.
