Croatia: Net electricity production reached 1,132 GWh in September

Net electricity production in Croatia rose to 1,132 GWh in September 2023 from 937 GWh in the same month of 2022, according to the data from the country’s statistical office.

Electricity production in September was lower than in August (1,310 GWh).

Electricity imports fell to 808 GWh in September 2023 from 1,004 GWh in the same month of 2022, whereas exports declined to 476 GWh from 515 GWh.

On a monthly comparison basis, electricity imports fell 2.7% in September, while exports dipped 1.4%.

Electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,445 GWh in September, down 12.8% month-on-month and 1.7% higher year-on-year.
