Croatia: HROTE, ENNA and CROPEX to hold new green energy GO auctions on 29 July 2025

HROTE, ENNA and CROPEX have announced new auctions for guarantees of origin (GOs), scheduled to take place on 29 July 2025. The auctions will offer GOs from wind, solar, and biogas sources.

HROTE plans to sell a total of 201,741 guarantees of origin for electricity generated under the incentive system during the second quarter of 2025. These GOs, originating from wind power plants, will be traded on CROPEX’s IT trading platform.

ENNA will offer a total of 30,086 guarantees of origin, also from electricity produced under the incentive system, through the same platform. The auctions will include:

  • GOs from wind power plants for electricity produced in the second quarter of 2025;
  • GOs from wind power plants for electricity produced in the second quarter and March 2025;
  • GOs from solar power plants for electricity produced in May and June 2025;
  • GOs from biogas power plants for electricity produced in the second quarter of 2025.
