Croatia: HERA cancelled the procedure for a public supplier

The Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency decided to cancel the procedure for selecting a natural gas supplier for the obligation of public service. The public call was cancelled on the day when the decision on who would supply gas to 650,000 households in public service should have been made.

HERA did not explain why it cancelled the tender, where theoretically 11 suppliers could compete. This concerns the public service of supplying households with gas for the period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2027.
