Croatia: Guarantees of origin auctions on 20 May sell over 264,000 GOs for wind and biogas power

On 20 May, a total of 264,855 guarantees of origin (GOs) were sold in auctions organized by HROTE and ENNA Next. The auctions, held in parallel through CROPEX’s IT trading platform, offered GOs from wind and biogas power plants.

  • HROTE sold 226,961 GOs from wind power plants, representing electricity produced in Q1 2025, at a price of €0.40 per GO.
  • ENNA Next sold 8,754 GOs from wind power plants for electricity produced in Q1 and April 2025, at €0.45 per GO.
  • ENNA Next also sold 25,798 GOs from wind power plants (Q1 2025 production) at €0.41 per GO.
  • Additionally, 3,342 GOs from biogas power plants (Q1 2025 production) were sold at €0.37 per GO.

These auctions help track renewable electricity production and support the green energy market.
