Croatia, Entire amount of 334,179 guarantees of origin was sold on three separate auctions

On guarantees of origin auctions for electricity from incentivized producers, that was held on 25 July 2022, the entire amount of 334,179 guarantees of origin was sold on three separate auctions.

Auctions were organized as three parallel auctions, in addition to guarantees of origin from wind farms on two auctions, those from biomass were also sold on one auction through CROPEX’s IT trading platform:

– a total of 196,098 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in April/May/June 2022) at a price of 2.3 euros/GO;

– a total of 50,810 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date older from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in April/May/June 2022) at a price of 2.21 euros/GO;

– a total of 87,301 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 with installed capacity less than 5 MW (electricity produced in April/May/June 2022) at a price of 3.31 euros/GO, which represents the highest price of the guarantee of origin achieved since the beginning of the organization of GOs auctions in August 2019.
