Croatia: Electricity production reached 1,250 GWh in July

Net electricity production in Croatia in July reached 1,250 GWh, according to data published by Croatian Bureau of Statistics. That is 12% higher compared to July last year (1,119 GWh).

In July 2023, 560 GWh of electricity or 45% was produced in hydropower plants, 466 GWh or 37% in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 115 GWh or 9% of total produced electricity. 

At the same time, Croatia imported 947 GWh of electricity, 19% less compared to last July (1,167 GWh), while electricity exports stood at 487 GWh, 16% less compared to July 2022 (582 GWh).
