Croatia: Electricity production reached 1.6 TWh in November 2023

Net electricity production in Croatia in November 2023 reached 1,596 GWh, which is 26% higher compared to November 2022 (1,272 GWh), according to the data published by the Bureau of Statistics.

During November, 868 GWh of electricity or 54% was produced in hydropower plants, 387 GWh or 24% was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 254 GWh or 16% of total produced electricity.

In the same period, Croatia imported 729 GWh of electricity while electricity exports amounted to 803 GWh.
