Croatia, Day-ahead price on CROPEX 375.4 euros per MWh in July

The total volume of trade on the Croatian electricity exchange in July 2022 was 568,906 MWh, the operator of the exchange announced.

Of this, 484,298 MWh were traded on the day-ahead market, and the average price for base load at CROPEX DAM was 375.4 euros per MWh. That is even 130 euros more than in June, when the average price for base load was 245.3 euros per MWh.

The average price for peak load also increased on a monthly basis, by 136 euros, to 386.05 euros per MWh.

The volume of trading on the intraday market was 84,609 MWh in July. The weighted average price on CROPEX IDM increased by 75 euros compared to the previous month, to 369 euros per MWh (from 294.7 euros per MWh in June).

26 members participated in the day-ahead market in July 2022, of which 18 also traded on the intraday market, according to the CROPEX monthly report.
