Croatian company Djuro Djakovic has built and commissioned cogeneration power plant on wooden biomass in Brinje. It was a turnkey project contracted by the Sherif Group.
After similar facilities in Glina and Karlovac, this is the third biomass cogeneration power plant build by Djuro Djakovic for the Sherif Group in the past few years.
The plant has electricity output of 5 MW and thermal output of 10 MW, which will be used for the owner’s own consumption. Estimated consumption of the plant is some 60 thousand tons of wooden biomass per year.
