Croatia: Average price 111.7 euros/MWh on CROPEX DAM in March

Average daily base price on day-ahead market on the Croatian energy exchange CROPEX in March amounted to 111.69 euros/MWh, which is 23% lower than in February, while average euro-peak price reached 114.39 euros/ MWh, 26% lower compared to the previous month.

A total volume of 858,508 MWh of electricity was traded on CROPEX DAM in March 2023, which is 51% more than in February, of which 741,064 MWh on the day-ahead market and 117,444 MWh on the intraday market.

Traded volume in March 2023 was 65% higher compared to the same month last year. Average daily traded volume on the day-ahead market in March amounted to 23,905.3 MWh.

The average price on the intraday market was 112.8 euros/MWh, 20% lower compared to February.

There are 27 participants on CROPEX day-ahead market and twenty four have been active on the intraday market as well.
