Croatia: Average day-ahead price reached 94.3 euros/MWh in June


The average daily base price on the day-ahead market on the Croatian energy exchange CROPEX in June 2023 amounted to 94.25 euros/MWh. That is 9% higher than in May. The average euro-peak price reached 83.31 euros/ MWh, 10% higher compared to the previous month.

The average price on the intraday market was 93.67 euros/MWh, 12% higher compared to May.

In June 2023, the electricity trade volume reached 638,790 MWh. That is 36% higher than May and 27% higher than June 2.

There are 28 participants on the CROPEX day-ahead market (one more compared to the previous month), and twenty-four of which have also been active on the intraday market. The average daily traded volume on the day-ahead market in June amounted to 17,178.3 MWh.
