Bulgaria, The price of DAM in July increased by 44%, to 323.3 euros per MWh

The average price for base load on the Bulgarian day-ahead market of the IBEX exchange in July 2022 increased by 44% compared to June, to 323.3 euros per MWh, according to the monthly report of the exchange operator.

Also, the average price for peak load increased by 42%, to 312.3 euros per MWh.

The minimum hourly price in July was 20.5 euros per MWh, and the maximum price was 686.25 euros per MWh.

The base volume of trade on DAM increased by 4%, to 2.565 million MWh. The average daily trade volume was 83,165 MWh.

On the intraday market, the weighted average price in July increased by 54% on a monthly basis, to 339.1 euros per MWh.

The average weighted price for peak load was 321 euros per MWh, which is 52% more compared to the previous month.

The total volume of trade on IDM increased by 6% compared to June, to 86,850 MWh, according to the IBEX report for July.
