Bulgaria, Production of electricity in November 2021 increased by 12.4 %

According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, production of electricity in November 2021 increased by 12.4 %, compared to October, to 4,416 GWh, while consumption of electricity rose by 5.3 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,898 GWh. Consumption of natural gas in
November 2021 increased by 18.4 % and amounted to 283 million cubic meters, while its production remained the same and amounted to 2 million cubic meters.

Compared to November 2020, production of electricity increased by 21.4 %, while its consumption dropped by 5.6 %. Consumption of natural gas decreased by 12.4 % compared to November 2020, while its production dropped by 60 %.

In November, production of unleaded petrol was almost zero due to planned maintenances of production facilities, while its consumption
increased by 11.9 % and amounted to 49,000 tons. Production of diesel in November decreased by 34.1 % compared to the previous month and amounted to 29,000 tons, while its consumption decreased by 17.9 % and amounted to 160,000 tons.

Consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 8.1 % amounted to 40,000 tons, while its production dropped to zero. In the same period, production of solid fuels decreased by 6.5 % to 3,239 thousand tons, while consumption of this energy resource also dropped by 6.2 % to 3,314 thousand tons.
