Bulgaria: NPP Kozloduy reconnected Unit 5 after maintenance

Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant reconnected its said its 1,000 MW Unit 5 to the grid on Monday, after a planned annual maintenance, which began in May.

Unit 5, one of the NPP’s two operating reactors, was switched back on following an inspection and positive assessment by the country’s Nuclear Regulatory Agency, Kozloduy NPP said in a statement.
