Bulgaria: Gazprom plans to sell its fuel network

Gazprom Neft is reportedly looking to sell its petrol stations in Bulgaria, evaluating its operations in the country between 60 and 80 million euros. Gazprom is looking to sell its retail network consisting of 23 petrol stations under the Gazprom brand, a tax warehouse in Kostinbrod and 12 empty land plots.

The company has already hired a consultant to assist with the future sale of its Bulgarian assets.

Gazprom is present in the Bulgarian retail fuel market through NIS Petrol, a subsidiary of Serbian oil company NIS, of which Gazprom Neft is the majority owner.

The company has 23 petrol stations in operation and, in the first nine months of the year, it held a 2.7% share in the Bulgarian fuel retail market.
