Bulgaria: Electricity supply contract between BDZ Passengers and Energy Market Global

The contract envisages the supply of 11,168 MWh of electricity in the course of one year.BDZ Passengers, a unit of Bulgarian state-owned railways operator BDZ Holding, said that it has signed an electricity supply contract worth around 610,00 euros with Energy Market Global.

Last month, BDZ Passengers signed one-year electricity supply contract worth some 3.4 million euros with Most Energy, which will supply a total of 74,000 MWh. In March, BDZ Passengers launched a tender for one-year electricity supply contract worth some 17.7 million euros. According to tender documentation, the contract envisages the supply of 150,280 MWh of electricity in the course of one year. The agreement could be extended by one year. The deadline for the submission of offers is 10 April and the bids will be ranked solely on price offered.
