Bulgaria: Electricity production reached 3,785 GWh in November

According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, production of electricity in November 2019 increased by 11.6 % compared to October, to 3,785 GWh, while consumption of electricity also rose by 7.8 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,856 GWh. Consumption of natural gas in November 2019 increased by 41.5 % and amounted to 259 million cubic meters. Compared to November 2018, production of electricity decreased by 14.4 %, while its consumption dropped by 6.8 %. Consumption of natural gas decreased by 15.9 % compared to November 2018.

In November, production of unleaded petrol dropped by 6.4 % and amounted to 147,000 tons, while its consumption rose by 11.1 % and amounted to 40,000 tons. Production of diesel in November decreased by 9.5 % compared to the previous month and amounted to 276,000 tons, while its consumption dropped by 14.8 % and amounted to 178,000 tons.

Consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) decreased by 10.3 % and amounted to 35,000 tons, while its production also dropped by 7.7 % and amounted to 12,000 tons. At the same period, production of solid fuels decreased by 14.5 % to 2,383 thousand tons, while consumption of this energy resource also fell by 14.5 % to 2,440 thousand tons.
